The Carriage House Retreat

Spot on apartment practically in the center, near all of important places. Positive: All info was devulged by the host in a message in Booking platform. We just did not pay attention to all details in the first 5 minutes and tried to call the hosts. After failed call (it was late!) we noticed the codes in the next paragraph. All codes worked perfectly. Negative: Practically, all was good and excellent. Really nothing to complain....

Communication with the host was great. The retreat was a little disappointing although it had everything I needed.

Cute stand alone 'apartment' that was a bargain. Very clean and appealing. Good bed. Helpful Hosts.Located very close to restaurants, entertainment, and Great Museums.Wouldn't think twice about staying again.

Very nice apartment in a slowly (!) gentrifying part of town Positive: Very nicely furbished and well-equipped apartment. I especially liked the kitchen and washing machine/dryer, the very comfortable sofa and the paintings on the walls. The location was pretty central, optimal for people who want to drive during their visit as there is parking on the premises available. The hosts were very friendly in their communication. Negative: The neighborhood is quite sketchy and I did not feel entirely safe (I heard shots being fired outside twice in two weeks). Although the apartment is really cute (!), the clogged drains, stained towels, and a general sense of wear and tear did not help. Communication was on the slow(ish) side.
